Open Google search page and type the following code
site : URL-of-your-website/blog-homepage
Say for example,if you have a blog with .blogspot.com domain then the code will look like
site : yourblogname.blogspot.com
By doing this you are requesting the Google search engine to display your website and all the pages/posts of your website that has been indexed by the Google crawlers. Then Google will display a list of your posts/pages.Note that you can see all the posts and pages that are shown below. The interesting thing is that you can see the individual page or post search description/meta tags;and also analyze how they appear when somebody search the web. Therefore, analyzing the search descriptions by going through the search results will help you to choose an appropriate search description/keywords.
If however, nothing shows up in the search results, like shown below in the search results then it means that your website is not indexed by Google yet.You need to recheck the status of your sitemap as well as custom robots submission to Google Webmasters.
There is another way of checking your index status in webmaster.Login to your webmaster account and go to site dashboard > sitemap. There you can see the number of URL's submitted along with status of indexing shown below. But this does not give much information (like search descriptions, tags, number of pages as per search keywords).
